Staffing Approach
The Mindseeker Approach
An in person meeting with our client gives our Account Managers the opportunity to learn about the required skills for the job, while giving us an excellent opportunity to get a feel for the work environment, culture and other intangibles that can’t be gained from a basic job requirement. This first step helps us ensure a better match for both our client and candidate.
Initiating Candidate Search
After gaining an understanding of our client’s expectations, we begin our recruiting process. Job Candidates are our most valuable resource, so naturally the identification process is extremely critical. While sourcing over the Internet is a valuable tool, most of our top candidates are either generated form our internal network of contacts or from our own database.
Initial Screening
Once a candidate has been identified, our recruiters conduct and in depth interview to assess the candidate's background. This process includes vital questions about job history, skills evaluation, including strengths and weaknesses in key and desired areas, and reasons for exploring a new contract or position.
Face to Face Interview
We understand that soft skills are equally as important when selecting the best person for the job. Meeting our candidates in person gives us the ability to assess the intangibles and gives us a great feel for their presence and personality. This also enables us to build a strong relationship with the candidate.
Reference Checks
The final step in our qualification process and one of the most crucial are reference checks. We know that our recruiters are great at qualifying candidates, but talking directly to former managers or supervisors rounds out the process. We verify positions held, dates of employment, reasons for leaving and utilize a rating systems for required/desired skills and other key attributes.
Resume Submission
Once we have completed our qualification process, we send a resume along with a detailed profile for review. This profile contains all of the vital information from our screening process along with the candidate's availability for an interview.
Skills Testing
In certain conditions, upon client request, we will have a professional skills assessment conducted through one of the major testing centers. This gives both our clients and our recruiters valuable insight into the candidate's true skills and abilities.
Background Check
Also upon client request, we can complete a full investigation into the candidate’s background that includes verification of employment, educational background, criminal history and a credit check. We can also provide complete drug testing if needed.
